Dating Older Women What's So Different?
It's not really surprising that more and more men are dating older women...
...there are a
lot of gorgeous older women out there on the dating scene.
It's not just Hollywood stars like Pamela Anderson (hard to believe she's 41 years
old!) and Madonna (amazing at 50!) who know how to look after their
appearance.
You've probably seen a lot of great looking older women.
And with divorce rates still rising, there's never been a better time to find an older
woman to date!
In fact, specialised websites like Toyboy Warehouse and Go Cougar
have even been set up to cater for your mutual needs!
So what's so different about dating an older woman?
Well, firstly, most older women are mature and experienced about life. They
understand who they are and what they want in life.
So they're normally not needy, they're very independent and they're secure about
themselves.
If you're dating an older woman she probably won't expect you to
support her emotionally or financially.
Okay, there will be exceptions but generally, older women are not as high
maintenance as they were when they were a younger version of themselves!
This doesn't mean that she won't want commitment – as with any relationship, some
women will want to keep things casual but others will want more.
Communication is
the key to sorting out any misunderstandings about where you both see things going.
Another great thing about older women is that they are normally great in bed!
Most older women are very experienced and very knowledgeable about their own
bodies.
They also have high sex drives. Honestly, this isn't just a myth!
Biologically, women
reach their sexual peak in their forties (way later than a man) so the older the better!
Thirdly, an older woman will appreciate qualities in you that men her own
age or older maybe don't have…your physical appearance and the respect you have
for her as an equal will be very appealing to an older woman.
Obviously, not everything about dating an older woman is going to be easy.
The
chances are that an older woman will have children. Some guys find it hard to get
involved in a relationship with a single mother…and that's fine.
If you don't have children of your own it can be intimidating to date someone who
does. Our article on
dating a single parent
will give you some useful advice on how to
handle this situation.
But there will be issues whenever two people get together…in these enlightened times
an age difference shouldn't give you any more complications than if you were in a
relationship with someone your own age.
As long as you have respect for each other, you communicate and you're willing to
understand the wants and needs of each other, dating older women can be a great
experience.
